i don't know how to help natives except hope this world has robust mental healthcare
as for our own people it's hard for a lot of them to stomach it's not that i think they have to, but in the coming weeks i get the feeling we're going to be seeing a lot of volatility out of self-defense and self-protection
( they can't help everyone, and jason--definitely does not expect to. there's a lot of shit here he can't do, people he's not going to be able to reach. this isn't gotham but the whole goddamn world, and even in his own hunting grounds he knew better than to expect to be able to resolve everyone's problems. this isn't any different. )
i still haven't gotten the full story on what the hell happened but from the bits and pieces i have gotten, i don't think i want it either you got names of displaced to look out for?
it's just long. it wasn't a few weeks of mental torture with blurry background stories, it was entire lifetimes on top of the ones we already have. not worth the headache unless you want to wallow in depressing content.
can give you a list of people who were cardinals. they were basically demi-gods there, powers, long lives, spent most of their time manipulating and murdering the rest of us for fun. i don't think all of them are going to lose it and go on a killing spree, for the most part i think they'll be lying low, but if there's any behavior to keep an eye on that's probably the generalized group i'd recommend.
